In 2015, Attorney John A. Locus became the newest associate of LeFoll & LeFoll. John brings many years of insurance defense experience to the firm, offering him keen insight into the personal injury cases he now handles.
While John’s practice areas include probate, estate planning, real estate, and bankruptcies, he primarily specializes in litigating personal injury cases.
These can include:
- motor vehicle accidents
- slip & fall incidents
- dog bites or domestic animal attacks
- liquor liability or dram shop
- medical malpractice
Attorney Locus’ goal is not only to provide our clients with a pleasant, hassle-free experience but to also get them compensated fairly and expeditiously. This can sometimes be done without the need for protracted litigation simply by having a series of good faith negotiations with the Defendant’s insurance company or often by utilizing various alternative dispute resolution procedures, including non-binding mediations or high-low arbitrations. Nevertheless, if John thinks money is being left on the table, he will not hesitate to take a case to trial.
Attorney Locus is committed to providing personalized legal services in the areas of estate administration and estate planning as well as the personal injury services described above. When a loved one passes away, it is a traumatic experience. Attorney Locus is here to guide heirs and beneficiaries through the complexities of the probate process and to make it as painless and efficient as possible.
John is an avid rock-climber and aspiring triathelete who lives on the Connecticut shoreline in Old Saybrook with his two dogs.
