Personal: Jim Higgins is a former attorney who practiced in Connecticut from 1980 until 2007.  Since retiring, he has joined LeFoll & LeFoll to consult and bring his experience in the areas of practice management, practice development; particularly with elder law, estate planning and probate.  He graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 1977 and the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1980.  Jim is a former member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, having served on various committees and as Chair of the Practice Management/Practice Management Section.  He is also a former member of the Connecticut Bar Association Elder Law Section.

Jim also works in the law firm Collections Department, currently serving as its Manager.

Jim is a father of four.  He and his wife, Jennifer, live with their children in Moodus.
